Olla Measuring tools

Clint Eastwood says we have to ” improvise, adapt, and overcome’ so here is how I’m measuring the one gallon ollas. I didn’t have a 12 inch ruler so I made one, measuring just over 13″, out of a scrap stick and a sharpie! The ollas is about 12 1/2 ” tall and 8″ wide. The milk jug was left by the previous instructor. They used them for their ‘throwing’ water. I prefer an open top bucket that is rigid. Cut the top out of a milk jug and you lose all rigidity and the water slops out onto the floor, etc. I think we still have 2 of those jugs left from ten years ago when I took over. Still improvising…still recycling scrap clay…
